| | Model of the car: | Dodge Caravan SE (4-cyl Turbo) | | | General comments: | I have had an overall pleasant experience with my Dodge Caravan. It is a rather unusual one, with a four-cylinder turbo engine. It currently (July 2004) has 180,000 miles on it and the transmission is starting to slip gears. The air conditioner compressor just went out, and the fuel pump died at about 150,000. Replaced shocks and struts at about 160,000 (should have much sooner) and fuel regulator started giving trouble back in 1994. But overall it has served very well and maintenance costs have been infrequent and inexpensive. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Fuel regulator started giving trouble after 4 years.
