| | Model of the car: | Grande Caravan Sport | | | General comments: | I purchased this vehical new in 94 and after 8 years, I have mixed feelings. The power train (came with 7 year warrenty) has been solid. Handling has been very good - I love the ABS brakes. Milage has been decent - about 25mpg on the highway. I actually experienced few problems for the first 5 years. Then the air conditioning died and cost about $2000 to repair. It died again about a year and a half later. I haven't bothered to fix it again. Vehicle has a little more rust than I would have expected. If not for the air conditioning problem I would probably purchase this vehicle again. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | From what I read on web sites and consumer magazines, the quality seems to be spotty. Mine was pretty good for the 1st few years. | | | Previous car: | My wife has a 1992 Toyota Previa (with less rust). |
