| | Model of the car: | Caravan LE | | | General comments: | Aside from the NUMEROUS Recalls from the Manufacturer for Leaking Fuel PumpPossibilities, this has been a "WorkHorse" of a Family Vehicle. It Possibly has "Saved Our LIFE" in one case when we were "Rear Ended" by aSmall Pickup on a Slick Interstate. I rate the Caravan as Very SAFE and Durable in Collisions. We Now have 72,000 Miles and Never changed Either the Spark Plugs or Fan belts YET. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | We do Have some apparant "slipping" of the gears at times so At 72,000 Milesit may be some "Pending" transmission problem about to become worse. The Child Seat Belts in the Rear SEATS can become "LOCKED" for No apparant reason.Once we had to take our Child to a Dealership to have Her literally "Cut" out of the Seatbeltas it became Too tight ot Loosen manually | | | Previous car: | Oldsmobile Silouette ( I Prefer the Quality of The Silouette and Will buy it NEXT) |
