In the interests of consumer satisfaction,these minivans should have been recalled several years ago for transmissiondefects. This is an embarrassment to US industry. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Breaks down more than a car should with less than 53,000 miles.In a span of one year (last year), the following broke, and needed replacement (at prohibitive cost): 1. Automatic Transmission (3.3 liter) at 52,000 miles; 2. Clock Spring (at 48,000 miles); 3. Oxygen and Throttle Sensors (at less than 50,000 miles). In addition, the wipers start operating spontaneously (with the wiper switch turned "off." | | | Previous car: | Have not heard of transmission problems in other cars |
