| | Model of the car: | Dodge Caravan | | | General comments: | I have been very pleased with my Dodge Grand Caravan...until now! I have had the van since 1999 and this spring we were forced to replace (or rebuild) the transmission. Problem...a fractured differential pin blew through the transmission case in 2 places. I was shocked to find out that this is a common problem with these vans! A very expensive problem. Furthermore, I contacted Dodge about it and was told that the van must have been driven hard and that we were out of luck! I am a mother with small children not a stunt driver!
