 Model of the car:Dodge Caravan
 General comments:Yes, definitely. We paid about $25K for an SE with pkg 28E, which has everything on the SE except for the 3.8 ltr engine. The alternatives from Honda and Toyota are sold by jerk dealers without vehicles to even test-drive, and they expect premium prices. The Ford Windstar seemed pretty good to me, but couldn't sell the wife. Our dealer, Maxwell, in Taylor, couldn't be better. No hassles with anything, ever. I had braced myself for the worst when we intially went in, but it was actually great.I would recommend the Caravan for any family with two kids, or folks who need haul stuff around, since the space is so generous. We plan to stick with Caravans until our children move out (or refuse to be seen with us).
 What things have gone wrong with the car:The sliding doors are easily knocked out of adjustment, rattle on bumpy roads, and even our dealer admits that he has only one or two "experts" in the body shop who understand how they work. The headlights are also inadequate; I'm trying to find out if there are brighter bulbs available.
 Previous car:We had a 97 and really flogged it; over 50K in the first 18 months. Although we bought the extended warranty because we had heard about quality problems, the car had none. We did not buy any extended warranty on the 99. It is essentially the same car as w
