Grand Caravan Sport

Model of the car:Grand Caravan Sport
General comments:This is my first experience with a minivan. With 2 kids, I have really come to depend on having all that room. Up until a few months ago I was going to purchase it at the end of my lease. Then I had transmission problems. The dealer fixed the torque-converter (?) under the warranty. Had it not been under warranty, it would have cost 1,800-2,000 dollars. I'm sorry, but a 2 year old car with 20,000 miles should not have transmission problems. More and more people are coming out of the woodwork telling me about maintenance issues.I'm glad I had the tranny problem when I did! I'm currently shopping for a different minivan.
What things have gone wrong with the car:I used to have a Nissan Altima, and the workmanship was much better.Every Caravan owner I've spoken to has a history of mechanical problems with it.
 Previous car:none
