This is third Caravan that we owned. 89 and 95 before purchased this one. Bought it in January 2001 and the minivan experienced with no problem. We took it from Ontario to Florida, Orlando twice already through the mountain route. We drove it at 75+ MPH all the way with resonably good mileage from it. Found using regular 87 octane gas is OK. Did not find 93+ gas was necessary even climbing the mountain.
I am 6'1" and found the front seat uncomfortable. I thought that I could get use to the seat arrangement, but after 23,000KM (around 14,000 miles) I still get leg cramp after half an hour of driving. Tried all sort of tricks, cushions, leaning forward | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Front seat. Otherwise, none. Just gas and go and regular oil change from the dealer. | | | Previous car: | 97 Grand AM GT, 89 abd 95 Caravan, Ford, GM products.... Currently also own a 2002 Hyundai Sonata V6. |
